ABOUT
Dr. Liangzhi You is a Senior Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). His current research focuses on assessing the impacts of technology changes in agricultural production and modeling agricultural land use systems as well as on estimating the impact of climate change and climate variability on food security. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers and many reports and policy briefs. Liangzhi earned a B.S. in hydraulic engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing in 1990, and an M.S. in environmental economics and Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 1999.
