Dr. Jan Duchoslav is a Research Fellow leading IFPRI Malawi’s research theme on “Social Safety Nets and Breaking the Humanitarian Cycle.” His research interests lie at the intersection of development, behavioral, and health economics. Jan studies how shocks to the physical and social environment affect individual preferences and group behavior, and applies behavioral insights to impact evaluations of various development interventions. Dr. Fleur Wouterse is a Principal Researcher Climate Change and Development Economics and acting Program Lead Food Security and Rural Well-being at the Global Center on Adaptation based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
